Got Choices?

So much to do so little time... blah, blah, yadda, ya... you get the point.

Aren’t you tired of the same ole' same? day in day out? There's highs and lows, but who says we can’t at least aim for excitement on a daily basis, right?
It seems that unless money is flowing, some sex has been had, and the sun's shining there's not much to be excited about.

Well, I beg to differ, (but of course)

Apparently there's little support, save for friday--after 5, and the weekend.

This brand spanking New Year came in barely 4 weeks ago and Jequiche vowed to make this one count, make it different, make it, in a word--exciting.

So, she decides to wake up early, eagerly start the day regardless of angry rush hour traffic, grumbling strangers on the street pissed because you’re wearing a big Kool-aid smile at 8 in the morning, and they’ve just finished pealing their hand out of their pocket half frozen.

What the hell are you so happy about!

Then a questionable confused look follows when you blurt out,
"Well, it’s a new day!"

And oh for Goodness sake, how dare you scribble on your message board for all to see
HAPPY ________________ (Followed by the appropriate day of the week.)

Who says Happy Monday? You’re scolded time and time again, as though it’s some sort of oxymoron.

Then, the chatter of the keyboard comes to a momentary hault.

I have a question.

Yes, I. Jequiche has a question, if I might…

*grabbing the imaginary bullhorn mascerading as Purple Capital letters—I HAVE ONE WORD TO SHARE WITH YOU TODAY PEOPLE

CHOICE.

Is it not a choice to view any day of the week as a drag? Ok, I admit Mondays do tend to drag, but, they don’t have to.

And, what of Wednesdays? Oh, yes the ever famous Hump Day, hmmmm…. I mean, do we really want to sign up for this type of life? Living for the weekend?

Give me a break!

That’s dull, uneventful and just plain sad.

It’s all a choice, each decision we make. So, the next time someone tries pulling you down because you’re mix-matched with the day—screw them! (Well, don’t actually screw them, unless that’s what you want to do) *Ahem, uh, forget them, go on about your merry way and find the joy in whatever you can. Don’t continue to look forward to Mundane Mondays or Totally Terrible Tuesdays where people want to act like they’ve actually have woken up and realize that its Tuesday, I say screw---er, forget them and make the choice to do something different for a change. Take yourself shopping, call up an old friend, watch a new show/something you’ve never seen, give yourself a break and just plain have fun. Get excited! Come on! Make today GOOD.

And in other news,

Jequiche has been busy grinding into the wee hours of morning working on...

Wait.

dont tell us--erotica.

*BIG Grin

Yes. of course.
